Add-ons

Add-ons. Whichever package you pick.

If you need one of these, just mention it in our first call. No configurator stress. We discuss it together and I lay it all out transparently.

Online bookings

+300 €

Clients book appointments themselves, you see everything in your calendar. End of phone tag.

Here is how this looks for you

A dedicated booking page, for example booking.yourcompany.com. The client picks a free slot, enters name and email, gets an automatic confirmation and a reminder the day before. The appointment lands directly in your Google Calendar or Outlook. You no longer answer the phone, call back, or write things down by hand.

Running costs

For a solo business: 0 EUR. If you have a team or multiple staff: 15 USD per month (Cal.com Teams, billed directly to you).

Custom email address on your domain

+200 €

hello@yourcompany.com instead of yourcompany@gmail.com. Looks professional, lands reliably.

Here is how this looks for you

You get one or more email addresses on your own domain (for example info@smith-painting.com, accounting@smith-painting.com). Emails arrive cleanly in the inbox, do not land in the recipient spam folder, and if you ever decide to move, everything belongs to you. Works with Outlook, Apple Mail, phone, webmail.

Running costs

Mailbox.org from 3 EUR per month for 1 address, from 6 EUR for 2+ addresses. German provider, GDPR-compliant, servers in the EU. You sign up directly.

Newsletter integration

+250 €

Clients sign up on your site, you send updates through a simple tool.

Here is how this looks for you

Sign-up form on your website, double opt-in (GDPR-compliant), you write the newsletter in Brevo or MailerLite (both have simple editors). Example: a monthly update about offers, seasonal tips, or news. The integration is set up cleanly once, no tech stress after.

Running costs

Brevo free up to 9,000 emails per month. MailerLite free up to 1,000 contacts. Above that, tiered from around 25 EUR per month.

Detailed analytics

+200 €

Here is how this looks for you

Plausible dashboard with user-flow analysis: which sub-pages get visited most, how long visitors stay, which search terms bring them in. GDPR-compliant, no cookie banner. If Cloudflare Web Analytics (free, included by default) is enough for you, you do not need this.

Running costs

Plausible around 9 EUR per month. Cloudflare Web Analytics is already free in the Start package.

Multilingual site (language of your choice)

+400 €

Website in two languages. So that someone who does not search in your main language finds you too.

Google indexes them separately, so you also rank in searches in the second language. Browser auto-translate cannot do this.

About

Pro tools, the kind the big teams use. In the hands of one person.

Hi, I'm Eugene. Eugene Solutions is my business.

My principle: SaaS SaaS Software-as-a-Service. Instead of running your own server, you use a specialist provider that delivers a specific function (email, bookings, delivery, newsletter) as a service. Saves setup, maintenance, and usually cost. where it is cheaper and better than self-hosting, custom build where it has to be individual. The result: low running costs and almost no classical maintenance.

I'm studying IT and doing a parallel apprenticeship in application development (the German Fachinformatiker programme). During the day I work in that field, and alongside that I have time for my own company Eugene Solutions, freshly founded. Which means: no 50-person agency team, no front-desk hotline, no sales fluff. You talk directly to the person who builds your website. Me.

What sets me apart from the typical local IT shop: I use the same tools engineering teams at Google, Meta, Anthropic, and the US government use. Astro Astro A modern web framework that produces especially fast websites. Used by The Guardian and many top studios. for fast websites at the edge Edge Server location close to the visitor. Instead of one central server in Frankfurt, your site lives on many servers worldwide. The measures that help Google understand your site and rank it high in search results. are checked on the way, not just at launch. Big-tech stack, in the hands of one person, at fixed prices for SMEs.

I use AI-assisted engineering workflows every day. That is the standard now in every serious developer team, from Anthropic engineering to large tech orgs. What these tools give me: faster iteration, less routine code, more time for the decisions that actually matter. Architecture, security design, performance optimisation, GDPR workflow, long-term maintainability. That is the part you need someone who understands what they are doing for. You are not paying for typing. You are paying for the system still running cleanly in five years.

Eugene Solutions is not just a web design studio. What you get is a finished online solution. Four pillars that together make the whole picture:

Website

Fast, modern, perfect on every smartphone. Loads faster than your competitors. Built to last.

Visibility

Search engine optimisation, Google Business Profile, local findability. So clients find you instead of your competitors.

Communication

Custom email address on your domain, online bookings, newsletter. Optional add-ons, matched to what you need.

Security and performance

GDPR-compliant without cookie banner, no classical maintenance contract, fast and zero downtime. You save four figures per year compared to classical providers.

All of it tuned together, from one source, on a modern stack that does not cost you maintenance every month. Otherwise the prettiest website is just a business card sitting in a drawer.

Where I currently draw the line

What you get with me: online presence, fast and secure. Website, SEO, Google listing, custom email address, online bookings, newsletter integration. All GDPR-compliant, with no tech work on your side.

What I do not offer yet: full-blown IT systems with client data storage. So no member areas with login, no custom CRMs, no rented-server hosting for sensitive data, no accounting backends. Once client data gets stored, it is a different league. Data protection officer, data processing agreements, server compliance, far more planning instead of just building. That is part of my studies and apprenticeship and will come later. Right now I consciously focus on online presence so every project gets the attention it deserves.

If you need something in that direction, reach out anyway. Maybe a lean solution within our stack is enough, maybe I refer you to someone else. We sort it out honestly in the audit call.

If that resonates, just write. The first call costs nothing.

How it works

Four steps. Clear scope. No price surprises.

Before we start, you know exactly what you get and what it costs. Before you pay, the site is live.

  1. Initial call

Free, 30 minutes. Tell me what you need and where it's stuck. I ask, listen, and make first suggestions.

  2. Concept and quote

Within 3 working days you get a clear concept with scope, schedule, and a fixed price. No hourly estimates that balloon during the project.

  3. Build with feedback

I build, you give feedback. Two review rounds are included in every package. You see progress on a staging link, not just at the end.

  4. Live and handover

Deploy, domain wiring, GDPR check, Google Business Profile (from Start onwards), Lighthouse audit. You get a clean handover with logins and docs.

FAQ

The questions almost everyone asks.

If yours is not on the list, just write. Answer within one working day.

What is the difference between Start and Migration?

With Start I only handle your new website. Your existing email, your old backend, third-party systems all stay untouched. With Migration I move your entire running setup to the modern stack (website plus DNS, email optional as an add-on). Migration’s main selling point is the cost-saving leverage: typically 500 to 1,500 EUR saved per year on running hosting costs.

Why does Migration cost more than Start, even though I already have something?

Because Migration is more work, not less. I audit your current state, pull content from your old site, consolidate domain management, and make sure your old URLs keep working (so your Google ranking does not disappear). If you also want to migrate email addresses, that comes as an add-on. In return you save four figures per year on hosting afterwards. Pays for itself within 1 to 2 years.

How long does it take?

Start: 1 to 2 weeks. Migration: 3 to 6 weeks depending on the complexity of your old system. Add-ons (booking, email, newsletter) another 3 to 5 working days in parallel. Counted from the day you confirm the order and all content is in.

How does payment work?

50 percent on order confirmation, 50 percent on go-live. Bank transfer. As a Kleinunternehmer under §19 UStG (German small-business exemption) I do not charge VAT. The listed price is the final price.

Why no VAT on the invoice? Is that legal?

Yes, fully legal. Eugene Solutions operates under the German Kleinunternehmer rule (§19 UStG, the small-business VAT exemption). For private clients worldwide: the listed price equals the final price, no VAT added. For EU B2B clients with a valid VAT ID: invoice issued with reverse-charge, so you account for VAT in your own country (and Eugene Solutions provides the German USt-IdNr once the BZSt issues it). For non-EU B2B (US, UK post-Brexit, CH, etc.): invoice without VAT under §19, no VAT obligation towards the German tax office. In practice: as a private client you pay exactly the listed price. As a business you handle VAT on your side the same way you would for any other EU supplier.

I am based outside the EU, can I work with you?

Yes. Eugene Solutions works with clients worldwide. Invoicing in EUR, payment via SEPA, IBAN, or PayPal Business. Non-EU B2B clients get an invoice without VAT under the §19 small-business exemption, so no German VAT to claim back. No customs questions because services are delivered electronically. Timezone-wise: I am in CET (UTC+1, UTC+2 in summer); calls in the morning (CET) work well for US East Coast clients, late afternoons (CET) for US West Coast.

Do I have to bring the content myself?

Ideally: yes. Text and images come from you, you know your business best. But I am flexible. What you bring, I build on. Where something is missing, we figure it out together — wording suggestions, structuring, photo editing. If you already have an old site, I pull your existing content as a starting point, whether Start or Migration.

What about SEO (search engine optimisation) and Google visibility?

The full technical SEO scope is included in both Start AND Migration: meta tags, sitemap, Schema.org LocalBusiness, performance above 90, Google Search Console setup, Bing Webmaster Tools, Cloudflare Web Analytics. Plus Google Business Profile setup or takeover. Concretely: Google and Bing get every signal they need so clients find you. SEO is not an add-on with me, it is the default.

How is GDPR handled?

Built in by default: locally hosted fonts (no Google Fonts CDN), cookie-free via Cloudflare Web Analytics (no banner needed), privacy policy and legal notice as required pages. Lighthouse score above 90. If you need email addresses (as an add-on): Mailbox.org as a German, GDPR-compliant provider with EU servers.

What exactly is a SaaS stack? Where is the benefit?

Instead of self-hosting everything (your own web server, your own mail engine, your own newsletter software), every building block of your site runs on a specialist provider: Cloudflare for delivery, Mailbox.org for email, Cal.com for bookings, Resend for the contact form. These are SaaS services, each a pro at one specific job. Result: low running costs, no plugin updates, no server maintenance, every block runs in your name and is portable individually. What I build individually is the website itself, with the engineering workflows modern software teams use: everything in source code instead of a click editor, automated quality and performance checks on every build, version control so no state gets lost. A site that fits you instead of a template, and that still loads as fast in five years as on launch day. If you later need something custom (client login, database, custom backend), we build that on top. That way you end up with the lowest sensible running cost for exactly what you need, without an all-in-one bundle markup.

What does maintenance cost after launch?

In the ideal case: nothing. Our SaaS stack does not need classical maintenance. Cloudflare Pages has no server that can fail, no plugins that need regular updates, no PHP version that eventually goes end-of-life. A static Astro site is not vulnerable like a WordPress with twelve plugins. If you want to adjust something after launch (new opening hours, photo update, copy fix), there are two paths: either you commission me per change at a fixed price (typically 20 to 50 EUR depending on effort), or you take an optional care plan from 60 EUR per month if you change things regularly. Both without lock-in. With Migration, the first month after launch also includes up to 2 small adjustments as a bedding-in buffer.

Am I locked in?

No. Website, domain, Cloudflare account, email provider, all add-on accounts: everything runs in your name. If you ever want to move on, everything is documented and transferable. No vendor lock-in, no contract obligation.

I only need online bookings, nothing else. Possible?

Sure. Bookings is an add-on (300 EUR setup) and you can take it on its own, without buying a package from me. I set it up and embed it into your existing website (wherever that runs: Wix, WordPress, Jimdo, no matter).

I do not have a custom email address on my domain yet. Possible?

Yes, as an add-on (200 EUR setup). You get one or more addresses on your domain (e.g. hello@yourcompany.com) via Mailbox.org, a German GDPR-compliant provider with servers in the EU. Running costs from 3 EUR per month (1 address) or from 6 EUR (2+ addresses). The contract runs in your name. Works with any package or even on its own.

What about multilingual sites? Is browser auto-translate not enough?

Browser auto-translate helps visitors who are already on your site. An English search for "physiotherapy buxtehude" does not find a German-only site, or finds it deep down, because Google does not index browser-translate output. Hard-wired multilingualism (dedicated URLs, hreflang tags, dedicated meta descriptions per language) makes Google index the English version separately. So someone who is not on your site yet finds you too. Add-on 400 EUR per additional language.

Do you also build databases, CRMs, member areas?

Currently not in the standard offering. Once client data gets stored, it is a different league (data protection officer, data processing agreements, server compliance, far more planning). That is part of my training and studies and I will offer it in the future. Still, ask in the first call — sometimes a lean solution within our stack is enough, or I refer you to someone else.

What if I need my own server or custom backend?

Not my default offering, but if you really need it I will quote individually. In the first call let us first see whether you really need it or whether the fast Cloudflare solution is enough. Often the honest answer is: it is.
